We are looking for a Technical Animator to work with the Animation and Engineering groups. Using both in-house technology and existing middleware, the ideal candidate will help construct the animation pipeline and supply tools to the animators to help speed up workflows and solve technical problems.
Responsibilities:
Coding support of in-house animation pipeline.
Work closely with animation programmers to support changes to animation rigs.
Requirements:
Experience with Maya, polygonal modeling, rendering and animation
Strong scripting skills (Mel, Python, Lua )
Familiarity with modern animation techniques
Precision and attention to detail in creating animation tools with an understanding of workflow optimization
Must have worked on at least one AAA title
Bonus:

·Experience working with animation middleware (MotionBuilder/Morpheme)
