Job Description
:

The Division of Information Technology and Sciences at Champlain College seeks an engaged faculty to join its Software Technology Department. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Game Programming major starting June 2010. We are interested in candidates who can work within a team-oriented faculty and with strong project-based curricula. The candidate will teach primarily on campus, with some online classes. Responsibilities include undergraduate instruction (possibly some graduate level), course development, student advising, community and industry outreach, and student team project supervision.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have industry experience in game programming and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. (Candidates with a Masters degree in a relevant field and extensive experience in game programming will be considered.) The candidate should be able to teach courses which s(he) is qualified within the Division, if needed. Rank will be determined based on qualifications of the successful candidate.
