Senior Engineer, Server Side

Newest and most cutting edge funded San Francisco social game company seeks a Sr Engineer with expertise in Java, J2EE and other server-side technologies. This position is responsible for designing, building and maintaining functionality for deployed production environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CTO to create media tracking and optimization software. Opportunity to work with business masterminds and designers of game industry hits that promote a healthy live/work balance. Excellent salary and substantial equity. Requirements include:

- Expertise with Java, J2EE, and/or other server-side technologies
- Well-versed in OO concepts and design
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with either Oracle, MySQL, and/or Postgres
- Experience building highly transactional/scalable web application s
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Subversion or CVS
- Interest in games highly desirable
- Knowledge of Flash and/or Flex a plus
