Responsibilities

• Design and implement core application infrastructure including automated unit tests.
• Work with cutting edge technologies (Jquery, Ajax) to create websites that stand out.
• Implement user-facing functionality to meet business requirements.
• Participate in and sometimes leads technical design and code reviews.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for providing solutions.
• Train, guide, and mentor other developers.
• Create complex cube matrix reports using only the in-house abacus

 
Experience

• 5-8+ years of solid software development experience in Microsoft technologies.
• Strong Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET and the .NET Framework and IIS.
• Front end web development technologies a plus (AJAX /XHTML/XML/JQUERY).
• Service-oriented architecture (WCF).
• Strong Proficiency with SQL Server development experience
• Familiarity with ORM tools (LINQ).
• Willingness to practice test-driven development and implement automated unit tests.
• Must be highly motivated and self-managed.
• The ability to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Willingness to adapt to changing business goals and employ creative thinking to solve problems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English - written, listening, and verbal skills.

LAMP, Network Administration, and Hardware knowledge are a plus!
